Surprisingly impressive. 70's exterior gives way to nicely redone interior. Beautiful view over the golf course/wolds. Breakfast great, staff friendly. Would be happy to stay here again.
I booked the room on the day of arrival. they gave me a room on 4th floor which was fab. It was toward the gulf course with very beautiful view, clean and comfy . Staff was very helpful. The only reason i give 4 star is balcony. I think they forget to clean it.
53 Bargate, Grimsby DN34 5AD, UK – 01472 356068
This hotel is amazing. The staff are extremely helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The food was out of this world.... simply stunning...! The bar had a good choice of drinks and comfortable seating area. The bar also does small snacks which were delicious. You have to stop here.... What a lovely place. Will definitely be booking to stay here again.
Great hotel Lots going on, people using the gym, locals using the bar, meetings etc STAFF are really nice ROOM couldn’t have been cleaner 5* , comfortable and I asked for a quiet room which I never heard a sole (Room 24) coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hawlicks and biscuits provided in room #lovelittleextras Great location right next door to an Embers INN even though I didn’t go there as food at the hotel was good, my only negative remark is that they didn’t have anything on the menu specially for vegetarians. Only 7-10 min walk into the centre Very happy with my 3 day stay and would stay again Thank you
St James Square, Grimsby DN31 1XZ, UK – 0844 736 8612
Don't stay at 3rd floor. Otherwise it may be OK. Maybe if they change my room I'll edit this. Here, at 3rd floor, you will find that during a summer day the room is hot, you go to sleep naked and in the morning the room is freezing The pigeons like morning walks on the roof, chatting loud and, if you would understand their language, you might catch some interesting gossips from the city. Sound proofing between rooms is almost there. From the pictures you will understand that the room was quite nice in the beginning but they did not have enough resources to hire some good builders. The view is great, you also have a nice bible next to you :)
Lovely hotel but you enter into car park at back which is not too appealing, but once inside all good. The front entrance looks across an attractive green and church area. Would recommend
Yarborough Rd, Grimsby DN34 4ES, UK – 01472 343372
Love that they have different deals on meals throughout the week. The food came out quick and was fairly tasty! Service was acceptable and the drinks are average price. The seating area was acceptable, fairly clean. Not many complaints to be fair!
First time at the trawl staff was very polite and helpful and all our meals came out together beautifully cooked the steak was prefect thanks to all of you very nice I will be coming again
Louth Rd, Grimsby DN33 2HR, UK – 01472 278517
Pricey, always had work meet ups and as per we were welcomed. We had an ace server named Chris who chatted and was great. Tip well deserved!! But when we went of the lunch specials the meals were pricey and small for it? If it was a larger portion we would not of minded the price. Great atmosphere as normal gave 4 stars due to portion sizes.
Good atmosphere.nice for families.food was pub grub fine for what you pay.good service.
21-23 Old Market Pl, Grimsby DN31 1EW, UK – 01472 348539
Really good food, great atmosphere (especially during a game!)
Excellent place for meeting friends. Food and drink is good and relatively well priced.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
